Central's Mother's Day Out and Nursery School
We offer a Christian service to the parents of the church and the community by enabling them to have a "Day Out" while their children are involved in a planned and supervised program provided in a loving, caring environment.
For children 9 months to 5 years old
September through May, Monday through Friday 9:15am - 2:15pm
Nursery (age 9 months - 18 months by Sept 1)
A loving, nurturing environment offereing children opportunities for socialization.

Young Toddler (18 months - 2 1/2 years old by Sept 1)
A loosely structured environment offering children opportunities to enhance already learned skills and practice new skills.

Older Toddler (2 1/2 - 3 1/2 years old by Sept 1)
A structured environment offering child-directed and teacher-directed activities to introduce children to an educational setting.
- art activities - cutting, gluing, coloring
- free play among several centers
- circle time - stories, finger plays, puppets, songs
- gross motor play in Fellowship Hall
- socialization
- dramatic play
- fine motor play - puzzles, manipulatives, playdough, etc.
Helpful Information
- Program is open from September through May
- We follow Chambersburg School Districts
- Closings due to inclement weather follow Chambersburg School Districts schedule
- Children bring a bag lunch and drink
- Snacks are provided
- Up-to-date immunizations are required at time of registration
- Birthdays may be celebrated with simple treats such as cookies or donut holes
- Registration is open to the public starting March 1 for the following September
- Registrations are accepted through the school year as long as classes are available
